This 15 Year Old Invented A Technique To Fight Cancer

Samay Godika, a 15 year old teenager from Bengaluru invented a technique to fight Cancer and Alzheimer’s.

Time to seek inspiration from this creative genius Samay Godika, a 15 year old student of the National Public School in Koramangala.

He has put up a video of his on self cleansing mechanism which can not just help in fighting deadly diseases like Cancer , Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s but completely prevent it. This student has put India on the global map, as he is representing a global competition.

In the video the main therapy is Autophagy, which is the science behind self cleaning mechanism, providing a helping hand in the prevention of the neurological and biological disease.

The main reason for posting this video was because this kid Samay Godika is a participant in the Breakthrough Junior challenge, and has acquired himself in the top 30 of this challenge. This challenge is sponsored by biggies like Facebook, Google and Khan Academy.

The task provided by the challenge was to submit videos on such complex and tough topics in the field of life, science, physics and maths. The video should be original, well researched and only for the age limit between 13 to 18.

Samay Godika in his life had seen his family members suffering from neurological problems, so he decided to find solutions for this. Godika has his passion to invent a curable solution with a godspeed.



Samay Godika has taken inspiration from Yoshinori Ohsumi, who is the Nobel Prize winner in Medicine for his work in cellular Autophagy.

In the video posted by Samay Godika, he says that, organelles and cells which are damaged, they can be decayed and energy can be created which will be the prevention to diseases. The kid has explained the whole process by a combination of humorous animated stories and scientific informative explanations.

The prize provided by the winner of this challenge is $250,000 out of which $100,000 will go the school.

Samay Godika aspires to pursue higher studies in the neurosciences from one of the best institutions in the world.
