These 3 ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’ Themed Cafes In India Just Cannot Be Missed

There have been so many TV series but none of it is like the ‘Friends’ TV series – it touches a cord of people across the globe even today. Although the last season was aired in 2004, the attachment of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’ fans remains constant. The story of Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe living in the same building was extremely relatable and hilarious. Each character was brilliantly etched out.

In India, there are cafes which are themed on this popular series. Yes, you read that right. The decor of these cafes is exactly the same. Quotes have been written on the walls of the cafe, character names and a lot more.

 

1) F.R.I.E.N.D.S Cafe in Kolkata:

This one perfectly reminds us of the TV series. It is situated in Deshpriya Park. Visiting here will not only refresh the memory in our minds but also make us feel like we are a part of it. There is a statue of Pat, the purple door of Monica and the menu has many dishes named after the food which became popular in the series.

2) FRNDS Cafe in Pune:

This place lets you dine inside Monica’s apartment – or at least come as close to it as possible. They have got the famous F.R.I.E.N.D.S. couch as well! To honour the characters in the sitcom, they have hung portraits in black and white of all six of them. The food is here good too, but who is going for the food?

3) Central Perk, Chandigarh:

Fans who love Ross and Chandler will be instantly telepathic to this place as it gives the feel of sitting all the way in Central Perk. The decor of this place speaks for itself, the name is perfect for this cafe, food over here is absolutely worth a try due to its unique taste. The walls of the cafe are covered with famous dialogues of the sitcom which the fans have been repeated even after 15 years!
