3 Films Turned Down By Bollywood Stars That Went On To Become Huge Hits

In Bollywood so many movies are offered to actors, which in turn are turned down by them for various reasons like there is a date issue, schedule problems, not comfortable doing a certain role etc. But in the end, when they get to know that a film that they rejected went on to become a blockbuster and that it could have been an award-winning or a life-changing role – we wonder whether the stars regret rejecting them in the first place.

Here are some hit films which were rejected by famous stars:

1) Aamir Khan declined the negative role in Darr:

According to a report on Huffington Post, Yash Chopra’s one of the finest this movies, Darr, was offered to Aamir and he rejected the role on the grounds of not wanting to do a negative role and instead recommended SRK for it. The movie then went on to become one of SRK’s best performances. It is said that the makers sidetracked the role of actor ‘Sunny Deol’ who is the hero which created a rift between Deol and King Khan.

2) Hrithik Roshan rejected the role of ‘Aakash’ in Dil Chahta Hai:

Director Farhan Akhtar wanted Roshan to play the role of ‘Aakash’ in Dil Chahta Hai but he couldn’t as he had Fiza, Mission Kashmir, and Yaadein in line, as per a report in the Times Of India. Later ‘Aamir Khan’ took up the role after which this movie went on achieve a cult status and was a blockbuster at the box office. popular

3) Kareena Kapoor would have been remembered if she had done ‘Queen’ too:

According to a report in India Today, actress ‘Kareena Kapoor’ who turned down this marvellous role and instantly the movie went to the actress ‘Kangana Ranaut’ for which she won several awards including the National Award for doing ‘Queen’. Kapoor, who has done many movies, has rejected many big movies in her career. Imagine Kareena as Queen? You can’t can you?
