This one is the ultimate brewing company for beer lovers, located in Sakinaka (inside Oberoi Mall on the Western express highway) – there are multiple outlets in the city. Just take out sometime from your work, take a table here and relax or you can also sit in a beer barrel along with your friends and enjoy the chilled beer. Beers here are featured from Gateway Brewing Company along with a variety of imported and local beers. In this party spot the timings are 12:00 PM to 12:30 AM with an approx cost of 225 for one pint of beer.
2) The English Department Bar and Diner:
Located in Malad (West) the English Department Bar and Diner is opened from 12:00 PM to 1:00 AM, it is a place which is famous for both domestic and international beers along with an assortment of cuisines like Mexican, Japanese, European etc.
Imported beer list includes Stella Artois, Estrella Galicia, Asahi, Birra Moretti and many more.
3) Verbena – Brewpub and SkyGarden:
Verbena, which is named after a herbaceous plant is open from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM. It is located in Kamala Mills, Lower Parel has a very soothing ambience with a slight touch of nature everywhere. The decor is class apart, there is rooftop where you can grab a beer along with puffing hookah. Along with finest beers there are whiskies as well from around the world. They have their own art of making a Long Island Ice Tea with different cuisines listed under ‘Botanical Mixology’.
People visiting here have a choice of both the Brewpub and the Skygarden, cost over for 2 people will be maxed at Rs 2000. They do not levy service charge as prices are inclusive of tax.
4) Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden:
Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden in Bandra’s Pali Hill area in the same building where Cafe Basilico is, has amazing types of beers for each and every taste. This outlet does not sell bottled beers at all, their USP is in selling the beer shakes which has added sugar in it with an ice cream. Kaitlyn’s does have the add-on of its interior decor which resembles a beer garden.
One beer approximately costs around Rs 200, the timings are from 12:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
5) Doolally Taproom:
This is one of the most famous breweries in Mumbai city which is from morning 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM, and the surprise is that Doolally is a ‘pet-friendly’ place. Located at Andheri’s Veera Desai road, this outlet has amazing options for craft beer. There are other outlets as well acorss the city. They do not sell any other kind of alcohol or for that matter, any bottled beers. All beers are worth a try – they would give you beers in taster glasses free of cost! Don’t forget to try their famous ‘House Fries’ which comes with 5 types of dips. The approximate cost for one glass of beer is Rs. 300.
