While at the age of 20’s no one will come and tell you to do this and that, there are some things which should be done with the age or before the age. In life, learning is the best art because what you have mastered by learning no one in the world will be able to take that away.
The biggest mentor in life is ‘experience’, not ranks or grades. These are five qualities that you should inculcate in your 20s:
1) Be resilient always:
Resilience will build up your strength, you will be able to face and withstand anything in life. In extreme conditions, resilient nature is good which can help you to spring back. Life has a habit of taking tests no matter what, anything can come your way.
2) Letting go of anger:
Anger has to be channelized to move ahead in life. Patience is a necessary thing and it cannot be purchased. Once you learn how to remove anger in a positive manner life is easier.
3) Change is the only constant:
Accepting change, and adapting to it is a trait that will take you a long way. Change cannot be stopped and it will make you better always. Take change as it comes without letting it impact you in a negative way.
4) Promises are not meant to be broken:
Keeping your word always is a way of showing respect towards other people. When you respect them automatically they will respect you. Commitment plays a part in success, never delay it or backtrack it.
5) Be humble and polite:
In life, it is essential to learn on how to ask for things which matter to you. What is even more important is to be polite while doing so. There is a thin line of difference between assertiveness and arrogance.
It is strange how we learnt moral science only in school and the subject suddenly vanished in our later years of education. What do you think?
