5 Roles Through Which Our Perception About These Actors Changed

Mostly we are so used to an actor playing certain kinds of roles that when they play a completely different role – we are taken by surprise.

There are some artists who took up some roles which were so out of the box that now they’ve set an image in front of the audience that they can get inside the skin of any character. These artists have showcased a new side of themselves and are evolving at a good speed.

Here are some artists whose roles changed our perception:

1) Arshad Warsi:

These days he is seen less in movies but back then when his time was not right he kept on delivering constant flops in serious roles. Then came his role of ‘Circuit’ in the Munna Bhai series. The actor evolved a different comic side of his and after he which he appeared in many successful projects.

2) Aamir Khan:

Yes, we know he is Mr Perfectionist, but apart from all this when he was new he had set a romantic hero image of himself in the industry. No one knew that this actor was meant to do tough roles on screen. Khan’s tough cop performance in, Rensil D’silva’s ‘Sarfarosh’ changed his image as an actor.

3) Deepika Padukone:

It has been a few years since we are seeing her in films, but her performance in Lafangey Parindey, followed by Cocktail changed how we looked at her as an actress. She wasn’t just an eye candy. Her films like Finding Fanny, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and then Ram Leela, showed us her versatility.

4) Akshay Kumar:

Akshay Kumar has done various types of roles in the industry, he has done so many movies that it is difficult to find that one movie which was his best. But it was ‘Sangharsh’ that changed his image. He starred in the movie along with actress Preity Zinta – his performance was not comic, and also not full of action but a very much matured one along with a moustache. We will soon see him playing the role of a villain in 2.0.

5) Kareena Kapoor:

This actress, unlike other ones, has never experienced a downfall in her career at the moment. She took a temporary break due to her pregnancy, now she is back. When we saw her playing the typical ‘heroine’, it was the film ‘Chameli’ in which she portrays the role of a prostitute which changed the viewer’s perception of her completely.
