When the experienced actors are replaced by less experienced ones in the Bollywood industry, the success of the film stands completely in the middle. There are many reasons due to which the actors are replaced. Find out below.
There can also be moments of regrets when the movie with the less experienced actors is a hit because of the script or a complete flop because the audience didn’t like it! Anything can happen.
These were the times in the industry when actors with experience were replaced by actors with less experience:
Akshay Kumar was replaced with John Abraham by the director because Anees Bazmee was having budget issues. The film was a disaster compared to the super hit part one.
The fourth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ series replaced Kareena Kapoor with Parineeti Chopra. Although her role was less and it did not affect the movie much but Kapoor was missed. Kareena Kapoor Khan was not doing the role as per the rumours because of her pregnancy. The fourth part earned more money than the last three parts.
Yes, indeed it is true that ‘Zoya Akhtar’ offered the lead role to ‘Ranbir Kapoor’ first but due to some internal date clashing issues, Ranveer Singh stepped in and grabbed the role. Yet the movie is to release then only we will be able to decide who is the one who regrets.
The script of the movie and the subject is very interesting but the film did not earn much. It released alongside ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which may be the reason this movie went unnoticed. But the role was first offered to ‘Siddharth Malhotra’, and after he declined the role it went to ‘Harshvardhan Kapoor’. the movie became his second flop.
Shaadi Ke Side Effects (Where it happened the other way around):
The part one of ‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’ was a very successful movie. ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’ is the second instalment and it did not make a massive impact on the audiences but when commercially compared, the second part earned more. Farhan Akhtar replaced Rahul Bose, and Vidya Balan replaced Mallika Sherawat in the second part. This is one special case where more experienced actors were roped in, instead of less experienced ones.
Can you imagine what the movies would be like if the actors wouldn’t have been replaced at all?
