6 Life Lessons To Learn From The Kardashians

You can love them.

You can hate them.

But you can’t ignore them.

America’s favourite family (Sorry, Obamas!) has not only made us comfortable with the prospect of latex dresses and brunch for dinner but has also given us the “K Bible” – a set of simple rules to live by.

Here are the 6 commandments – courtesy of Kim, Khlo, Kourt, Ky and Ken – approved by the cast and crew of KUWTK. (Not real, but eh!)

1. Family comes first.

No member of the klan shall ever fight alone – be it throwing shade on twitter or calling someone out on Instagram – the Kardashians have each other’s backs at all times.

2. Love yourself.

No one’s opinion about you matters if your opinion about yourself is healthy. If you want others to love you, you’ve got to love yourself first – be it through treating yourself to makeup or clothes or posting a ‘fire snap on the gram.’

3. Confidence is key.

Whether it’s a latex dress, clear plastic boots, or denim swimsuits, if you’re happy, then you’re good to go. People will stare, you might as well make it worth their while.

4. Don’t take things too seriously.

Sometimes people will demean you, take credit for your success and attribute your fame to parts of your body. But it’s okay. Laugh it off, dust yourself off, because what others say about you, isn’t what you really are.

5. Fame is overrated.

Fame is overrated and privacy is underrated. With great fame comes great responsibility, many critiques, and way too much time in the limelight. Simply put – it’s not for everyone.

6. Live like no one is watching.

It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you’re happy doing it. Essentially, live everyday like its 2 AM, Friday!

Whether or not you’re a binge watcher, these 6 simple life lessons from the Kardashians are life changes that one should strive to achieve.
