Jayaram Jayalalithaa was one of the most famous and worshipped Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu state in India. She died in 2016 on 5th December due to cardiac arrest. At that time in 2016 when she was elected for the sixth time as the CM of the state, she was hospitalized for 75 days in the Apollo hospital.

Jayalalithaa was a true mass leader who had enormous support from the people of Tamil Nadu. She was also one of the finest actors in her time who has acted in more than 130 films and won many awards and accolades during her Bollywood career.

This is the era of biopics in the Indian Film Industry and the filmmakers know the value of biopics. Making a movie on Jayalalithaa’s life is a good idea as the whole India wants to know who she was, what were her works, her acting, political life and a lot more. There is news that ‘Vibri Media’ that is funding the biopic of Kapil Dev or 1983 world cup which India won, starring Ranveer Singh and a biopic on ‘NTR’ which features his son Nandamuri Balakrishna, will be funding this biopic as well.
