At a recent press conference in Mumbai for Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Akshay Kumar cleared the air once again extended his apology about the national flag incident.

At the ICC Women’s World Cup In London, actor Akshay Kumar held the national flag upside down without intending it – unfortunately for the star he was clicked at that very moment and was trolled for it.
Clearing the air about the incident, Kumar at a recent press conference in Mumbai said, “I was unfurling the flag at that time and it was upside down. I was trying to steady it and hold it right but someone from behind clicked the photo. I didn’t even realise. If you watch it on television, you will see I am holding it right. Still, if I have hurt someone’s sentiments, I apologise to them.”
Kumar had tweeted an apology earlier as well on Twitter that read, “Extending my sincerest apology for violating the code of conduct for the tricolor. Didn’t mean to offend anyone, the picture has been removed.”
Kumar has been known for possessing a patriotic fervour. He had also launched the ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ App where people can donate to the families of the martyrs.
