Actor Arjun Kapoor attended Arya Vidya Mandir school in Mumbai till 12th grade. He made his debut in the Bollywood industry in ‘Ishaqzaade’ alongside Parineeti Chopra which went on to become a successful film. The actor was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Before making an entry in the industry he worked as an assistant director with Nikhil Advani for ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’. The ‘Gunday’ actor has also worked as an assistant producer in two of his father’s home productions ‘No Entry’ and ‘Wanted’.
The ‘Half Girlfriend’ actor had reportedly confessed that he had been dating the Bollywood star Salman Khan’s sister ‘Arpita Khan’. This was the actors first serious relationship. Salman Khan was a mentor to him. According to a report in The Times of India, the ‘Tevar’ actor was very scared of telling about the relationship to Salman which he had with his sister. However, the actor then confessed that when he did tell the entire family of Khan about their relationship, Salman was very much taken aback.
But the‘Ek Tha Tiger’ actor had been very much supportive about their relationship. Even when the bond among the couple ended after two years Arjun and Salman continued to be friends. Today also Kapoor is very thankful to Salman for being his mentor in his life. A
Arjun still gives the credit of getting his break in the Bollywood industry with Yash Raj Films to Khan. Not many know that before the actor’s mother (Mona Kapoor) passed away, she made her last phone call to Salman Khan to thank him for making his son an actor.
