Inception actor Michael Caine finally explained the end of the movie.

Inception released 8 years ago and was well-appreciated by the world audience. Directed by Christopher Nolan, and starring Michael Caine, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy and many more. Inception was a science fiction movie.

The plot of the film revolves around the character of DiCaprio, who is playing the role of Dom Cobb. Cobb is a professional thief and has a USP in conning secrets and stealing information from his victims by infiltrating their dreams. One such offer comes across him that his past criminal record will be erased if he does the work of planting another person’s idea into a target’s subconscious. This is how the movie develops further and the rest of the cast comes into play.

Michael Caine is playing the role of professor Stephen Miles, who is Cobb’s father-in-law and also his mentor.

This is the only movie whose ending is even discussed now everywhere. Even after 8 long years! Everybody remembers the ending, the character of Leonardo has a tether, a totem which also has a deep meaning in the movie that in a dream the totem will spin indefinitely. When the movie ends it is shown that DiCaprio is reunited in the film with his wife, father-in-law and children. The scene ends when he walks away, the totem is spinning. It is left to the audience as to what perspective they make of the ending, is it reality or a dream?

Everyone had their own perspective of the ending some said it was a dream, some said it was real but the truth has come out now finally revealed by Michael Caine, according to the Independent.

According to the Independent, the British actor was introducing a film 4 Summer Screen in London, Caine said that “When I got the script of inception, I was a bit puzzled by it, and I said to (Nolan), ‘I don’t understand where the dream is. When is it the dream and when is it reality?’ He said, ‘Well, when you’re in the scene, it’s reality.’ So get that – if I’m in it, it’s reality. If I’m not in it, it’s a dream.”

The actor knew the answer since the start of the movie but he revealed it out now to the audiences.

This year in 2018 we will be seeing the 85-year-old actor in Dear Dictator and Sherlock Gnomes.
