Here’s What Sonakshi Sinha Did With Her First Pay

Daughter of Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha was born in Patna. Surrounded by the atmosphere of a filmy background since childhood. The actress completed schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir (AVM) and had a great interest in fashion designing so she later graduated from Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic. Then, started working as a costume designer before entering the industry.

Eventually, her interest shifted in films and she got to make her debut opposite the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in ‘Dabangg’ in 2010, which went on to become the highest grossing movie of that year. Despite being a successful film for the actress, her acting skills were also praised though she had a very small role in the film. Sinha won the Filmfare Award for the Best Female Actress Debut that year.

Sonakshi Sinha strictly believes that in life when you earn your first salary something out of it should be spent on a thing that is very worthwhile and which is beneficial for others. The actress revealed on a television show that when after the success of Abhinav Singh Kashyap’s ‘Dabangg’, she received her first paycheck from Arbaaz Khan productions, she donated it to the Charitable Organization of Salman Khan’s ‘Being Human’.

This was the idea of her parents that always do something good to others which in return provides you with a priceless feeling.

According to the report in Pinkvilla.com, the actress quoted on a TV show, “Like any other parents would think, my parents also had a wish that their daughter should spend her first salary for a good reason. So to fulfill their wish I decided to give my first cheque to the Being Human Foundation.”

In Bollywood, few artists think about this kind of a thought about donating their first salary or even doing something for the betterment who are not able. On the other side, there are many who go to great lengths to do something for the betterment of the society without the need of making it known to the world.
