Juice: A Must Watch Short Film That’s Like Fresh Breeze For The Indian Society

A group of friends gather together for some drinks and dinner. Their wives come along as well (we don’t know if they wanted to). As the men joke and talk politics, enjoying one plate of food after another in front of a cooler, the women toil away in the heat cooking delicacies for them and handling the kids (which are only their responsibility according to men) without a fan.

The men enjoy, the women serve. The men complain and the women solve. And then – something happens, something so powerful that it will move your heart.

This short film starring Shefali Shah, is the story of almost every Indian household. Men and women both have a lot to learn from it.  The short film reeks of our mentalities. Mentalities that we need to get rid of.

“Manju Singh ( Shefali Shah) and her husband are hosting a get-together of families on a really warm night. Between the snacks, drinks and the laughs, something completely unexpected happens. Watch #JUICE, a powerful short written and directed by Neeraj Ghaywan,” reads the video description.
