Mysteries keep on happening every day in the film industry, but one such mystery we are talking about now is why did Kareena Kapoor Khan refuse to act in this amazing movie she was offered. Just think that what if things had gone according to the planning, the situation in the Bollywood industry would have been totally different!

While she was in college in 1999, the role of a leading actress opposite Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn was offered to her but she declined as she wanted to finish her studies then enter the industry. Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted this ‘Jab We Met’ actress in his cult film,  Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, a musical love story that was a super hit. It was a hit movie due to the locations, acting, star cast and music. Unfortunately, the role was turned down by Kapoor back then and it went to ‘Devdas’ actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who does absolute justice to the role. Can you imagine anyone else doing the role?

Kareena Kapoor was also offered the role of the actress ‘Ameesha Patel’ in Rakesh Roshan’s, Kaho Na Pyaar Hai, opposite Hrithik Roshan in 2000, which later went on to be a blockbuster and till now it holds the record of maximum awards. Ameesha Patel made her debut with this movie.

Kareena Kapoor made her debut in ‘J.P.Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ alongside Abhishek Bachchan who also made his debut in this movie. The movie had amazing music but it failed to impress the audience and Ameesha Patel swiped away the award for the best debut at that time which allegedly, caused a rift between Kareena Kapoor and Patel.

Just imagine if Kapoor had done her debut movie with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali or Rakesh Roshan the situation would have been very different.

Currently, the actress is working with actress Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar for ‘Veere Di Wedding’ which is a female-buddy comedy film releasing on 1st June 2018.
