“We Killed The Internet”, This Viral Video Shows How We Made The Internet A Dumping Ground

We are hooked on to the internet – a place that has the power to influence the coming generations and a place that is not doing it right. We wake up in the morning and scroll through our phones to see photos that make no sense at all – it is like we are mining shit online.

Nas’ viral video sends out a great message. It simply asks us to take responsibility for our legacy for the next generation. Are we going to let them watch a video that objectifies women? Or let them click on a link simply because it has someone being pranked or hit?

Nas says, “We killed the Internet. A system that is built on outrageous thumbnails, misleading titles, and stupid pranks…is a system that can not last. Unfortunately, that is what the Internet content has come down to. I make this video not to attack anyone, but to show my year-long frustration with that type of content on the Internet. I hope this video delivers on that message.”

Watch this video and share it – the time to stop making the internet a dumping ground was yesterday!
