While the first words of many are unknown, the last words of these famous people cannot be forgotten.

Last words of some people can be understood – but last words of many are unfathomable. People say interesting things right before they die. Many people regret, many leave out advices, some spill out secrets, some are afraid and some are eager to set out on a new journey ahead of them.
Let’s read last words of five more famous people in the part 2 of the last word series.
1. CHARLIE CHAPLIN:
“Why not? It belongs to him!”
Charlie Chaplin is reported to have said this in response to a priest at his deathbed. The priest had said, “May the, Lord have mercy on your soul to which Chaplin replied, “Why not? It belongs to him!”
2. STEVE JOBS:
“Oh wow. Oh wow. Oh wow.”
The last words of the inventor of Apple Inc. are puzzling. What was Jobs reacting to that made him say the phrase three times?
3. KARL MARX:
“Last words are for fools who haven’t said enough.”
The famous philosopher said something very unique. He had said enough during his lifetime yet in a way, even thought he condemned last words, he still said something.
“Stand away, fellow, from my diagram!”
Renowned mathematician, Archimedes was killed by an enraged soldier. The soldier had come to him to take him to Marcellus, who was the consul of the Roman Republic but Archimedes wouldn’t go anywhere until he completed the problem he was working on. He is said to have addressed the above words to the soldier.
5. NAPOLEON BONAPARTE:
“France, the army, the head of the army, Josephine.”
Napolean here lists out the things that are important to him, as if calling out to them for one last time. Josephine was Napolean’s first wife with whom he had taken a divorce years later but his love for her remained strong until his death.
