Love Per Square Foot Actor Vicky Kaushal Had Torn Apart His First Offer Letter

Born on 16th May 1988, Vicky Kaushal is the son of ‘Shyam Kaushal’ who has been the Action Director of many Bollywood movies. Since childhood, the actor revealed that he was very active on the stage be it any kind of performance.

The first movie Vicky has worked on is as an Assistant Director to ‘Anurag Kashyap’ for ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, after that he went on to do small roles in films like ‘Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurrana’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’. Kaushal kept on doing theatre with groups of Naseeruddin Shah and Manav Kaul.

The 29-year-old actor has graduated as an electronics and telecommunications engineer in 2009 from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology. He had even got a job interview as soon as he passed out of college – this can be termed as a very practical Indian dream of studying, finishing engineering, getting a job and then settling down – but he refused to even go for it. .The ‘Masaan’ actor refused to take up the job because his passion in life was to do acting.

The Raman Raghav 2.0 actor told TOI, “I had a job letter in my hand and after completing my engineering in 2009, which I tore apart. I wanted to give up this job interview because I knew that after this, nobody would take my interview in the film industry. Aur maine filmon mein dekha tha interview mein log tie lagake jate hai, hath mein file leke aur saamne se sawal puchhe jate hain aur applicant ke paseene chhoot jate hai. I wanted to live this episode.”

The ‘Zubaan’ actor will now be seen alongside actress ‘Alia Bhatt’ in director Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Raazi’ where he plays the role of a Pakistani army man, which is set to release in May, 2018.
