Now here is something even more interesting about the actor.

There are so many reasons that ‘Jab We Met’ actor signed SLB’s Padmavati. Here are a few conditions that Shahid proposed to Sanjay Leela Bhansali before signing the controversial film. Kapoor had become a father recently so he wasn’t ready to shoot immediately, making it clear that the actor would shoot for his sequences only after a few months. As per the reports Kapoor also demanded some huge change in the scripts, insisting SLB for a love triangle and sharing equal space with actor Ranveer Singh who plays the role of Alauddin Khilji. Shahid Kapoor would never play a second lead in the film, as both the powerful actors can surprise the audience with their acting skills and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali did not want to loose an actor like Shahid Kapoor.
