Cancer. The word itself is so vicious According to curesearch.org, 43 children across the globe are diagnosed with cancer every day. 43 little hearts who always thought that they had a long, hopeful life ahead are filled with doubts about their survival as we go on about our lives as if nothing has happened.
And it’s not just cancer that makes the lives of kids worse. There dozens of diseases that rob kids of their childhood.
Photographer Josh Rossi and his wife Roxana undertook an unusual project. They transformed the looks of six children who are suffering from various major diseases and turned them into superheroes of the famous Justice League.
These children who are battling tough diseases are real heroes. What Rossi and Roxana did is to bring out that side of theirs physically as well.
“After weeks and weeks of calling hospitals and trying to find these kids, it became impossible because of red tape. The hospitals couldn’t release information to us,” Rossi told CNN. Then they shared their idea with a partner who then went ahead with the project without them.
Angered and more intensely drive, both of them reached out to friends and family which made this project happen. It took them two months to complete the project which now has millions of views online.
