Ranveer Singh, who is one of the most energetic actors in the Bollywood industry has come a long way. Singh has a charismatic personality on screen and he sets the stage on fire even off-screen.
For the ‘Ram Leela’ actor, films were a distant dream but it was worth the chase in the end. Singh use to work in an advertising agency before called O&M at a post of a copywriter. He always wanted to become an actor and enter the film industry with one single goal set in mind – to act.
‘Band Baaja Baarat’ was his first debut movie, before signing this movie Singh rejected 3 movies. This movie was produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, though there is a speculation going around that Ranveer’s father who is a businessmen in Delhi, funded the movie, which was a one time investment and in the end the movie went on to become a super hit.
The ‘Kill Dil’ actor had also rejected Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’.
Ranveer Singh Bhavnani is the original name of the actor but he always prefers to keep it short. ‘Neerja’ actress Sonam Kapoor and Singh are cousins from the maternal side.
In a very short time ‘Lootera’ actor has achieved the plate of success by giving hits in line, like ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Gunday’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Now his fans are eagerly waiting to see him performing a negative character of Sultan Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ alongside Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead which is slated to release in 2018.
Besides acting Ranveer Singh is also an amazing rapper. The fun part is that he did a rap for his own ad for Ching’s Secret, directed by the famous director Rohit Shetty. His rapping creativity was also seen in his movie ‘Ladies vs Ricky Behl’.
Sources say that Ranveer Singh’s was dating Ahana Deol during his college days but the couple parted ways mutually. Then he was linked with his co-star Anushka Sharma and now finally his string is attached to one place as it seems he has settled down with his lady love ‘Deepika Padukone’.
