Bollywood’s one of the finest new talent Taapsee Pannu entered the industry as a model and in the film world through South Indian Cinema where she made her debut in 2010’s Telugu film ‘Jhummandi Naadam’. In the year of 2008, Taapsee auditioned for the Femina Miss India Contest where she grabbed attention after winning the ‘Pantaloons Femina Miss India Fresh Face’ and ‘Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin’.
But very few people have an idea about her life before she entered into the film industry. Taapsee was an engineer before becoming an actress! Pannu has done engineering in computer science from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology in New Delhi and worked as a software engineer.
The ‘Judwaa 2’ actress has even rejected a job offer after her graduation from the tech giant ‘Infosys’. Not only this, the actress along with her two other friends had developed an app called as ‘FontSwap’ in the final year of her engineering course. The app was basically for changing the fonts used in an iPhone which before 6-7 years this app was the first of its kind. However, the app was not submitted to the App Store because of its tedious approval process.
Taapsee Pannu garnered her reputation in Bollywood after the critically acclaimed and successful movies like ‘Baby’ and ‘Pink’.
Today very fewer people know that the ‘Naam Shabana’ actress also runs an ‘Event Management’ firm named ‘The Wedding Factory’ which is into organising marriages and several other events. The company is managed by the actress and her sister Shagun Pannu along with her friend.
This year the actress will be seen in various movies like ‘Dil Junglee’, ‘Tadka’ and ‘Mulq’.
