These Actors Will Create Compelling Performances If Cast In ‘Mahabharata’

Mahabharata is the biggest and the costliest project in the Bollywood industry right now. Being more than a Rs 1000 crore project and the making of the movie itself will take more than 6 to 7 years as a supremely realistic angle is being taken. The epic captivates social, political and cultural facets of human existence. Although there are just speculations revolving around who will be cast in the project, we think these actors will be a great fit.

Aamir Khan is keen to bring the project on-screen, as per reports in the media.

Deepika Padukone:

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Aamir Khan has been wanting to cast Deepika Padukone in the film but we do not know if that will be the case after the controversy surrounding Padmaavat. However, we still think Padukone will do justice to the role of ‘Draupadi’.

Amitabh Bachchan:

Everyone knows him and his extremely versatile skills to camouflage into his character. We think, Bachchan should be given the role of ‘Dhritarashtra’ who was the father of the ‘Kauravas’, a mighty born king with immense strength. The actor has a strong voice which can match with the intense role very finely. We think that more than Dhritarashtra, Bachchan can do great as ‘Dronacharya’.

Salman Khan:

Salman Khan in real life is a big-hearted man will be a good fit to play the role of  ‘Bhima’, the son of Vayu and Kunti and the giant food lover, who has a golden heart in this epic. Bhima was one of the strongest characters who killed the evil ‘Dushasana’ and ‘Duryodhana’. Khan will be the best choice for this role in ‘Mahabharata’. He could do justice to the roles of any of the Pandavas or can be cast in the role of Duryodhana, the eldest of the Kauravas.

Shahrukh Khan:

He comes, he conquers and he goes. SRK is the perfect choice for playing the role of the warrior ‘Arjuna’. Arjuna is the third son of the Pandavas, the best archer in the ‘Mahabharata’, Drona’s favourite, winner of the ‘Swayamvar’, and heartbroken equally when his son ‘Abhimanyu’ was killed by the ‘Kauravas’ in the battle of Kurukshetra. Arjuna has a very central role till the end as he is the one who kills ‘Karna’ after listening to ‘Lord Krishna’.

Aamir Khan:

Jagran English

The perfectionist of the Bollywood industry,  Aamir Khan is the most appropriate choice for the role of ‘Krishna’. ‘Krishna’ is one of the most important and strongest roles in the epic poem. The power of influence politically is so strong that he has changed the whole of ‘Mahabharata’ politically in the favour of ‘Pandavas’. We would also love to see him playing a negative role of ‘Shakuni’.

We wonder who will be cast and when will things be made official. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
