These Political Leaders Have Controversial Court Cases Pending Against Them!

Politics in India is dirty, but in which country is it not?

These influential political leaders, who are in powerful posts have cases pending against them in the courts of law. Not many know about this.

We do not know whether the political leaders are guilty or not but these accusations are definitely enough to raise eyebrows.

1) Amit Shah:

The mastermind behind the power of BJP, the party president had faced charges of organizing the killings of Sohrabuddin Sheikh, his wife Kauser Bi and his associate Tulsiram Prajapati. Shah is also accused of illegal surveillance on a woman. The Judge Justice ‘Loya’ who was assigned to the case of murder died under mysterious circumstances. Amit Shah’s name is also linked in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case.

2) Yogi Adityanath:

When the BJP party won, it went on to create history by forming their government in Uttar Pradesh and Yogi Adityanath became the CM of the state. The CM had cases like murder, criminal intimidation and rioting with deadly weapons in the state pending against him. Most of these cases were withdrawn.

3) Anupriya Patel:

She is currently the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and has lots of charges against her like rioting with deadly weapons, criminal intimidation, destruction of the evidence and endangering the life of others, voluntarily causing hurt to deter a public servant from his duty.

4) Mukul Roy:

He is a BJP leader and the case against him is still ongoing. Mukul Roy was an ex-Trinamool Congress Leader and was caught in a sting operation where he was seen accepting bribes for doing favours. It comes as a surprise that the investigation on this matter is still underway. He was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate.

5) Sanjeev Baliyan:

Baliyan is a Lok Sabha Member, belongs to the BJP party. He is the prime accused in the riots which happened in the Muzaffarnagar in UP. Apart from this, he is also involved in cases like sexual harassment and assault.

We await the judgement in these cases.
