Varun Dhawan’s Movie Will Recreate This Unforgettable Event In Bollywood’s History

It has been 21 years now that the music tycoon of the Bollywood industry, Gulshan Kumar, was murdered by terrorists in the open in front of people. Now the exact scene is being recreated in the ‘Judwaa 2’ actor Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film. The actor is playing the role of Gulshan Kumar in the movie.

The most ironic thing is that the makers of the movie choose the same location for the shooting of the scene – the same temple where Gulshan Kumar was shot. In reality, the murder happened outside the Jeeteshwar Mahadev Mandir in Andheri. Just as Kumar came out of the temple, two hired killers fired three shots at him. When Kumar tried to crawl as he was alive, the killers fired more fifteen bullets into his body! The incident happened on 12th August 1997.

It is said that Gulshan Kumar was a very religious person and he was the person who flooded the music market with the devotional songs. Kumar opened a Bhandara to serve free food to the pilgrims who visited the shrine of ‘Vaishno Devi’.

The whole city was in shock when this incident happened. Gulshan Kumar was born in Punjab. Just at the age of 23, he started selling illegal cassettes and records in a shop. As time passed the business he had started was getting profitable day by day and Kumar started producing the cassettes despite of them being pirated. Gulshan Kumar became a millionaire and shifted to Mumbai and became the founder of T-Series. He is the person who should be thanked for launching Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, and Anuradha Paudwal.

Gulshan Kumar was receiving non-stop threats from gangster Abu Salem, who was demanding Rs 10 crore. When Kumar refused to pay the extortion money, he was shot dead.

Most of the things about the movie have been kept under the wraps. What is perfectly evident is that ‘Varun Dhawan’ is in the movie. Let us wait for the official announcement of it.
